The newly constructed St. Anne's Church building in Kuruwita was blessed and opened by His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Anton Wyman Croos, the Bishop of Ratnapura on 13th January 2025. This church was constructed with the financial support of local and foreign donors under the tireless efforts and leadership of Rev. Fr. Niroshan Vaz, the Parish Priest of Ratnapura.
